SPECIFICATIONS

Description:

Rollable scraping mat consisting of durable nylon brushes, securely imbedded in PVC profiles. The PVC profiles are separated by means of PVC spacing caps. Profiles and caps are held in place by steel wires running at right angles through the profiles. The extremities of these flexible steel wires are clamped in a hollow aluminium profile.
Depending on the expected quantities of dirt and the intensity of traffic a 4 mm or
8 mm open version is available, with single or double PVC profiles, with a double row of brushes.
An aluminium scraping profile can be integrated for heavy duty applications.

Applications:
The mats are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and are highly recommended for heavy traffic entrance areas (more than 100 persons per hour).

Brushes:

The brushes have a height of 8 mm and are available in different colours. The density of the UV-stabilised brushes (nylon 6.6) is approximately 950,000 rigid nylon bristles per m'. Each brush consists of approximately 110 bristles.

Profiles:

The PVC profiles are 15 mm high and 15 mm wide. These rigid PVC profiles are available in the colours grey and anthracite. An aluminium end profile is fixed at the extremities of the mat.

Steel wire:   2 mm stainless steel wires (type 316) keep the profiles and spacing caps in place.

Spacing caps:
The round spacing caps are made of soft anthracite-coloured PVC and have a diameter of 10 mm. They are available in lengths of 4 mm or 8 mm.

Dimensions and finish:

The total mat height is 23 mm. The mat is made to size in the factory. Practically all shapes are possible. Available in an open construction (4 mm or 8 mm) with a single or double row of profiles, with or without scraping profile. Possibility to incorporate a logo, drawing or text.

Installation:
The mats can be placed in a matwell with a depth of 25 mm or directly on the floor; in that case, a ramping profile around the edges of the mat is recommended.

Warranty:
10 years for structural defects in case of normal use (in accordance with the warranty conditions).

Tests:

This mat meets the standards of the following tests carried out by the University of Gent:
